About the project:
I first heard about Cauterizer in 1990. They were a local band and a guy I went to school with played me a tape they had recorded. A while later I met them and for no apparent reason we decided that Cauterizer and a not so good band called Keks that I played in at the time should hook up and do a gig together. It was a lot of fun and I started hanging out with them and as things moved along they asked me if I'd be interested in joining them on guitar. I figured why not, and we started rehearsing some of the older material with the intention of recording a demo. We recorded it, and even though it wasn't a brilliant piece of music, it still had charm and some potential. We did a couple of gigs and had a few changes in the line-up as the years passed us buy. Towards the end Cauterizer had begun to sound better then ever with more complex songs and better musicianship. We never recorded anything after our first demo due to different reasons (mostly related to an unstable line-up).
I found an old tape with the demo. The soundquality is somewhat bad, but it should give you an idea of what we sounded like in the beginning.
